A ccTLD is a Country Code Top-Level Domain. Each ccTLD belongs to a particular recognized country, and each country gets to decide how the Registry for domains within that ccTLD should be run. Some countries run their registries themselves; others delegate this job to ISPs or other networking companies.

COST PER TRANSFER
The standard transfer fee will be the Base Registration Fee charged per domain names within the respective TLDs.

BENEFIT OF TRANSFERS
PNHOSTS.COM will process your transfer request with the appropriate Registry, if needed, and extend the registration term of the transferred domain name by 1 year from the expiration date of the original registration unless the 1 year extension would bring the total registration term to over 10 years. In such case, the total registration term with the extension would be limited to 10 years.

What is the fee for renewing a domain?
The fee for an additional year is equivalent to the fee for a new registration for that particular TLD. From time to time, PNHOSTS.COM may offer promotions for renewals.

What happens on the expiration date of my domain name if I do not renew
On the expiration date, the domain name registration will move to "Lock" status (a status where the domain cannot be edited or transferred) for five (5) days and then "Deactivation" status (a status where the domain will be dropped from the zone file and no longer be able to be viewed on the Internet) until the domains are cancelled on the 30th day.

DOMAIN TRANSFER PROCEDURE

You already have a domain that you registered somewhere else and you want to move the domain itself physically to us and get hosting to keep everything in on place?

1. First step is you go HERE and choose “I already have a domain name”.

2. Select Transfer.

3. Type in the domain you want to transfer to us.

4. Please make sure the admin contact email is an active email because an email will be sent to this email to approve the transfer. You can find out that email by doing a WHOIS HERE. If that is not a current email please go to where you registered the domain and update it

5. You ask, the domain still has 6 months or 2 years left before it expires, will I lose those? The answer is NO you will not, when you do this transfer it will add one year on TOP of the current expiration date! So just add one year to when it expires now!

6. Once you have processed this, look out for an email, approve it and just wait it out about 24-49 hours for the whole process to occur, if you already approved the email and you login into your domain control panel and you see the process is not complete, contact your registrar and ask them why they haven't released it.

7. While all this is happening feel free to buy your hosting plan and upload all your files to the server. Remember once you order hosting you have immediate access to the server via the server IP

8. If you don't want to move your domain to us, you don't have to. All you have to do is modify your DNS follow the steps above. But remember that your domain will expire at some point so it is wiser to add years to the domain and not wait until the last minute and risk losing your domain!
